HRT - NRG is the 3 track EP from the renowned DJ Soyboi. A Manchester based DJ and producer whos been causing a stir with their high energy jungle, footwork and hardcore sets and self releases. HRT NRG is Soybois first label release, the three track masterpiece is out on New Scenery on 10/06/22.

Soyboi presents HRT - NRG as a ‘fuck you’ to the current climate for trans people in the uk. Soyboi cites their anger towards the UK government and its activeness is making trans people's lives harder right now. ‘It's not the winning it's the taking part that counts’ soyboi teams up with long time collaborator salt pillar to produce this hypnotic track. This track is the joyful release on the EP as soyboi states one of the most powerful things you can do as a trans person is to create joy and this track produced alongside friend salt pillar is testament to that.

Soyboi employs everything we know them for in this EP. Blending effortlessly between jungle, footwork, grime, speed techno to produce this heavy hitting EP. HRT - NRG presents DJ Soyboi’s impeccable production talents in effortlessly merging genres.

serious amen business. i like the light touch, the freshness of the production makes this feel like the real instead of run homage. the jungle track whips. the deep house east coast kitchen wave take floats, as does the footwork, everything is gliding across the top instead of chopping through the middle the way detroit deep house does. this could be a creative source release from thirty years ago, relentlessly cerebral jams. the sauce Arpad Okay
